Over the years, Dark Woods has received an increasing number of requests for a traditional Italian-style espresso. 
 
This made them a bit apprehensive, as traditional espressos can often be bitter due to over-roasting and the inclusion of low-quality Robusta beans. However, with their curiosity piqued, they set out to create the best version possible. A refined modern interpretation in the Dark Woods style.
 
They began with sweet and balanced speciality Arabicas from South America and India, then incorporated high-quality Robusta from the award-winning Harley Estate in India. By keeping the roast at a medium level, they achieved a smooth, rich, and full-bodied espresso that encourages a reassessment of this style.
 
Tasting notes 
Out of the long, strong shadows of dusk steps a deer. Acorns crack under her hooves as she stands alert, bold yet gentle, atop the forest floor.
