From a rich heritage in cask ales dating back to the industrial revolution to its role as a driving force in the UK’s craft beer revolution, Sheffield can proudly proclaim to be one of the country’s most significant brewing cities. Today it boasts over four times as many breweries than that of Greater London, churns out around 1,000 different beers each year and has a growing number of venues committed to stocking a wide range of local brews.

The Sheffield Beer and Spirit Bible
Meze Publishing was formed in 2013, and in that time they have worked with multiple Michelin-starred chefs, winning ‘Best Newcomer’ at the Independent Publishing Guild awards.
They have now published over 40 titles for chefs and cooks throughout the country with a focus on local and independent businesses, but also expanding into other topics with their guide to all of Sheffield's best indie businesses in The Little Book of Sheffield.
