These little golden grains of goodness are whole grains made from cracked wheat that is packed with vitamins, minerals, and fibre. With a nutty flavour, chewy texture and popcorn scent, it’s a versatile grain that can be incorporated into almost any dish and makes a great replacement when you run out of rice or use to bake whole grain bread and bulk up veggie burgers.
Usage Information
Boil in water for 10-15 minutes, or cover with 2-3cm of boiling water and leave to soak from 20-30 minutes until water has been absorbed. Add a little Vegetable Bouillon to increase flavour.
