Eco Floss Refill (2 Pack - 2x 50 meter)

Eco Floss is the natural and sustainable choice for safe flossing to effectively clean out plaque between teeth and below the gumline. Made simply from a plant-based material that started life as a waste by-product from corn used by the food industry making the product completely plastic-free. It is coated with unflavored food-grade vegetable wax to make flossing easier.

This floss is made in the EU (and transported with zero air miles) from 100% renewable resources instead of the normal crude oil plastic alternatives and creates 80% fewer greenhouse gasses than regular floss.

A generous 50m bobbin is provided in a cardboard dispenser with a cutting blade that can be covered to protect if taken travelling.

This is a refill only, make sure you've got your dispenser here. Note: the bobbin fits the 50m size glass dispenser/container from other manufacturers.

There are many bamboo charcoal floss products on the market that make claims of being biodegradable, when in fact, it’s just nylon with some bamboo charcoal powder for colouring. There are also other corn-based glosses sold in a glass jar that is sourced from China with questionable claims about being biodegradable and no traceability of raw materials. All of this is why ecoLiving spent years sourcing an EU manufacturer to have total control over the ingredients, where they are sourced and ensure maximum quality.

Silk-based floss is the only other home compostable floss out there but it’s not cruelty-free. To make it, silkworms are boiled or gassed alive and there’s NO regulation for peace silk (which is meant to be a way of extracting the silk without harming them) and PETA warns against it.

Finally, for every pack sold ecoLiving plants a tree through Eden Reforestation Projects, a scheme for planting native trees which helps prevent climate change and reduce extreme poverty. ecoLiving is also a member of the 1% For The Planet donating a portion of profits to protecting our oceans against plastic pollution.
