Bamboo Toothbrush - Medium bristles

Manufactured from 100% renewable raw materials, Hydrophil's Bamboo Toothbrushes are the first climate-neutral toothbrush in Europe. Together with ClimatePartner they support climate protection projects in India. Switching to a plastic-free toothbrush is one of the simplest and most effective ways to reduce plastic consumption.

The handle is made from a variety of bamboo called Moso which is fast-growing. During its two-year growth, Moso bamboo reaches a height of up to 20 metres. Artificial irrigation, pesticides or any other chemicals are not used while growing the bamboo or cultivating the land which is important for the health of the ground.

The biobased bristles are obtained from castor oil which is derived from the plant Ricinus Communis, making them free of BPA and most importantly, petroleum which make this is a totally plastic-free product.

The colour on the end of the handle (used to denote the type of bristles, or use this at home for each family member's own brush) is a solvent-free paint made by natural colour manufacturer AURO.

All of the materials used to make these brushes are biodegradable, meaning that at the end of the use of the toothbrush, they can be placed in general waste with minimal impact on the environment. By removing the bristles, or snapping off the head, the handle can be placed into composting waste.

For the sake of the environment, each brush is packed plastic-free in recycled cardboard carton.

Change handle colour and add to basket again if you would like more than one type.
