25L Compostable Bin Bags / Liners (25 bags per roll)

A roll of 25 fully compostable and biodegradable bin bags / liners that are made from corn starch which are certified to EN13432, the internationally recognised certification for compostable material, and approved by many councils for their kerbside collections including food waste composting schemes.

Each bag features a "star-sealed" base, where the base of the bag is gathered and sealed in such a way as to provide extra strength which helps to prevent the bag from breaking when full of food waste but does not affect the overall capacity of the bag.

If you want to help the environment, then you can lower your use of single-use plastic by switching to compostable and biodegradable bin bags. These bags are great for use in small indoor and pedal bins that you would typically place in your bathroom, kitchen or next to a child's changing mat.

Other size bags are also available:

Origin

Sustainably manufactured in Herent, Belgium.

Storage
Compostable bags should be stored in a cool, dark, dry place that is out of sunlight and away from sources of heat and steam, otherwise, they will start to do their job and break down. It's crucial to use bags within 18 months of purchase so it's a good idea to use your oldest bags first.

Packaging

Each roll is held with a paper wrapper which is widely collected for recycling.

Size

120cm rim x 60cm length

  • The Compost Bag Company provides compostable bags and films, made from (partly) renewable materials and markets them all over the UK. It is part of a group of companies that spans Europe and owns extensive and flexible production machinery and is therefore able to offer many different product types.

They strive to offer the general public products, which are more sustainable than currently available alternatives, both in terms of their origin, production and disposal. Within this framework, the company develops concepts around different application areas, which increasingly focus on maximum convenience and hygiene.
