The shiny, oval seeds of the flax plant. Mainly used for oil, the whole seeds are nutritionally valuable, being rich in three essential fatty acids. The smooth, nutty taste is often used in breads, either add to dough or sprinkle on top. In salads, raw gives a nutritious boost to the immune system.
There is normally a small charge for using paper bags in the shop, but out of necessity with the changes made to the shop operations, we have removed this fee. However, if you would like to make a contribution to our Carbon Offset Donation Programme we will collect funds towards planting trees.
