Black Rice

With a nutty flavour and high in antioxidants, protein and fibre.


Cook: 1 part rice to 2.25 parts water. On medium-high heat, bring water to a boil. Add the rice and reduce to a simmer, cover, and cook for 30-35 minutes. Take off the heat and stand covered for 5 to 10 minutes, then fluff with a fork and serve.
